And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maxxy Baby!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush ducks under a wild hook from Baby.
Bush uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baby.
A slow jab from Baby misses its intended target.
Baby keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bush.
Baby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bush moves away.
Bush throws the left hand but Baby avoids the punch easily.
Baby scores with the left hand. Bush knows he should have avoided that one.


It looks like Dulles Bush has been cut.
Bush tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baby swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Baby swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bush jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bush has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bush closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bush lands a right hand.

Baby breaks the clinch.

Bush has taken the fight to the clinch.
Baby is trying to push Bush away but Bush has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bush scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bush throws a head punch that misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baby misses with a straight right.

Bush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Baby.
Bush dodges the punch combination from Baby.
Bush wants to clinch up but Baby keeps it at a distance.

Bush closes the distance and clinches.

Baby manages to break the clinch.

Bush fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baby, pushing him back against the cage.

Bush avoids the body shot from Baby.

Bush darts in and clinches Baby up against the cage.

Baby breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baby has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bush is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bush wants to clinch but Baby slips to the side
and Baby counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bush lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sloppy strikes from Bush. Those never looked like landing.
Baby looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Baby waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bush.
Bush tries to clinch but Baby moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bush looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bush tries to close the distance and clinch but Baby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bush clinches up against the cage.
Baby wants to get back to striking at distance but Bush won't allow it.
Bush keeps control of Baby as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Baby tries to circle away but Bush has him pinned against the cage.
Baby has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bush manages to break the clinch.
Bush slips a jab from Baby.
Bush doesn't manage to clinch there - Baby circles away.
Baby looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Baby connects with a nice looking jab.
Bush cracks Baby with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bush tries to move into range but Baby moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Baby swats away the attempt to clinch by Bush.
Bush fails in his attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Baby misses the target.
Bush is looking to counter punch.
Bush slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Baby looks to land a combination but Bush avoids it well.
Bush scores with a shot to the body.
Bush is looking to clinch.
Baby looks to land a left hand but Bush moved out of range nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bush.
Bush slips a jab from Baby.

Bush drives through and clinches with Baby against the cage.

Baby breaks the clinch.
Bush tries to clinch up but Baby circles away and keeps his distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Baby! But no joy.
A jab from Bush finds it's way through Baby's defenses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bush looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bush fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bush works the jab nicely.
Bush wants to clinch up but Baby keeps it at a distance.
Bush tries to clinch but Baby moves out of range.
Baby moves forwards but Bush connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bush tries to score with a low kick but Baby moves his leg out of the way.
Bush connects with a good right hand that stumbles Baby. Baby circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Baby is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice cross by Baby.
Baby is still on wobbly legs! Can Bush finish him?
Baby digs a good body shot into Bush's ribs.
Baby looks to throw the jab but Bush is out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bush moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


Bush is rocked!
Baby seems to have recovered his senses.
Bush throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baby looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oh Bush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baby throws a jab but it's blocked by Bush.

Bush clinches up against the cage.
Bush seems to have got his legs back now.
Bush lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Baby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baby missing with a left hand there. Bush was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bush tries to clinch up
and Baby comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Bush stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Baby is on him like rabid pit bull! Bush slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxxy Baby!
A relieved looking Maxxy Baby thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
