Washington is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Hawaii Five-O" by The Ventures. Ruslan Tashinchev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ruslan Tashinchev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Washington!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington shoots for a double leg takedown but Tashinchev sprawls well. He's pushed Washington's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Washington throws a body punch but Tashinchev moves out of range.
Washington wants to clinch.
Tashinchev throws the kick towards the body but Washington avoids it.
Tashinchev stuffs the takedown.
Washington misses with a straight right.
Washington feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tashinchev's calf.
Washington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tashinchev but Tashinchev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ruslan Tashinchev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Washington.
Tashinchev tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Washington counters with a good, hard body kick but Tashinchev shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tashinchev takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Ruslan Tashinchev has been cut.
Tashinchev is breathing heavily.
Washington darts in and clinches Tashinchev up against the cage.
Tashinchev tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Tashinchev tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Knees in the clinch landing for Washington.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Washington lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tashinchev backwards.
A short right from Washington on the inside.
Tashinchev is rocked!
Washington doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A body shot lands from Washington.
Washington stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Washington connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Tashinchev badly! Tashinchev tumbles to the floor and Washington stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
