Huber comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Bear has chosen Good Times as his entrance music. Jer Bear will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jer Bear!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Huber.
Huber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bear as he jumps to the side.
Huber shoots in for a double leg but Bear sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Huber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Bear counters with a single leg into guard. Huber didn't expect that.
Bear wants to control from the top but Huber keeps moving.

Huber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Huber is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bear got a little sloppy there for a moment and Huber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bear has managed to get both his arms back between Huber's legs - danger averted.

Bear is working Huber over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Huber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Huber is looking for a triangle but Bear pushes his legs off easily.
Bear slips nicely into half guard.

Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huber keeps working.
Bear looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Bear decides to return to a standing position.
Bear has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Mario Huber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huber fails with the takedown
and Bear scores with a counter punch that sends Huber to the canvas! Bear smells blood - he's punishing Huber with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Huber has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
