Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Frye (ranked 2015 p4p, 241 weight class) and Dab Calharran (ranked 2412 p4p, 276 weight class). Frye comes to the cage accompanied by Bombshell. Dab Calharran acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Frye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dab Calharran! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calharran changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frye looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Calharran tries to move to mount but Frye blocks the move with his legs. Frye manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Frye is trying to control but can't.
Calharran drops an elbow to the side of Frye's head. Frye wants to control but Calharran is keeping busy.
Frye tries to get to full guard but Calharran has control of the leg. Calharran thows a huge punch but Frye dodges it nicely.
Frye is staying active underneath Calharran, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Frye trying to hold on to Calharran's head to control him but Calharran postures up.
Frye wants to improve his position but Calharran is controlling well.
Frye is looking to control Calharran's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frye avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calharran looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Frye regains full guard. Nicely done. Frye has momentary wrist control but Calharran slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calharran stopping the sweep attempt from Frye. Calharran working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frye's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calharran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Frye looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Calharran seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Calharran distracts Frye with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Frye manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Calharran manages to get himself to full guard.
Calharran is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Frye preventing the sweep. Calharran controlling the position. Frye trying to control the position from guard on top but Calharran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calharran controlling Frye's posture. Calharran keeping moving, preventing Frye from controlling successfully. Calharran trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Calharran has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Frye content to stall in guard here. Calharran seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calharran gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Frye scoring well with a low kick there.
Calharran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frye tries to avoid it but Calharran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frye to the ground. Frye escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Calharran closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Frye to the mat! Frye manages to get full guard. Frye looking to hit a scissor sweep but Calharran is one step ahead there. Calharran pushes down on Frye's leg and manages to get into half guard. Frye has hold of Calharran's hands but Calharran slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Calharran wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frye keeps working. Frye keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Calharran is thwarting Frye's attempts to control the position. Ground and pound from Calharran.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calharran lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Calharran seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Calharran working the head and body with strikes. Frye is controlling Calharran's trapped leg to prevent Calharran from advancing to side control. Frye is trying to get back to full guard. Frye gets back to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Calharran lands a couple of decent looking shots. Calharran trying to control but Frye is working from the bottom. Frye looking to control.
Calharran with a flurry of punches that miss. Calharran trying to control the position from guard on top but Frye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Frye wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Calharran is working Frye over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Calharran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frye swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dab Calharran dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Frye throws a series of punches but Calharran moves out of range. No joy there for Frye, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big left from Calharran misses. Frye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Calharran. We've been told by Frye's head coaches at Stark Slugger Society that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Frye throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frye is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Calharran scores with a takedown into Frye's guard. Calharran showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Calharran lands a couple of digs. Frye is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frye holds on and takes a little breather. Calharran has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Calharran controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calharran with a nice head shot there. Calharran has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Calharran postures up in Frye's guard and throws a big left but Frye blocks it. Frye is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Frye has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Calharran has passed into side control.
Calharran working away. Calharran creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Calharran cracks Frye with an elbow. That is naaassty.
It looks like Isaac Frye has been cut. Calharran is working Frye over with some ground and pound from side control. Frye is trying to control Calharran's posture but Calharran avoids it. Calharran lands a decent elbow from side control. Calharran lands a decent elbow from side control. Calharran working the head and body with strikes.
Frye is rocked! Frye takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Frye is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Calharran scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Frye is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Calharran can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dab Calharran! A very excited looking Dab Calharran made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Isaac Frye spoke after the fight, saying 'My opponent was victorious tonight. I will return and next time it will be me who is victorious.'.
