The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steeled goes for a double leg but Gonzalez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gonzalez continues to drive forward.

Gonzalez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gonzalez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gonzalez stands and throws Steeled's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Steeled is pushing Gonzalez's head away, looking to escape. Gonzalez manages to hold on to the position though.

Steeled is trying to escape the position but Gonzalez is controlling the position.
Steeled really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzalez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Steeled takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonzalez cracks Steeled with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Gonzalez immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Steeled is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Gonzalez!
