Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Syracuse (ranked 7747 p4p, 636 weight class) and Aguta Grizzly (ranked 6118 p4p, 592 weight class). Joshua Syracuse had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Joshua Syracuse has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syracuse slips under a jab.
Syracuse throws a looping overhand right but Grizzly ducks down to avoid it.
Grizzly lands a nice leg kick that just misses Syracuse's sensitive parts.
Grizzly throws a nice inside leg kick.
Grizzly has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Syracuse is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A jab from Grizzly does it's job there.
Syracuse misses with an uppercut
and Syracuse is countered with a crisp right hand from Grizzly that sends him to the canvas! Grizzly follows him to the mat into side control.
Syracuse is rocked!
It looks like Joshua Syracuse has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grizzly cracks Syracuse with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Grizzly immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Syracuse is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Grizzly!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aguta Grizzly!
