Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arany Dali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anatoly Gorbachenko!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorbachenko is looking to score with low kicks.
As Gorbachenko looks to move away, Dali throws a big counter combo but Gorbachenko just gets out of the way.
An inside leg kick lands from Gorbachenko.
Gorbachenko misses with a body shot.
Dali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dali throwing a counter right hand but Gorbachenko manages to avoid it.
Gorbachenko throws a sloppy body shot
and Dali connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anatoly Gorbachenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dali looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dali tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Dali counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dali throws a body punch but Gorbachenko moves out of range.

Gorbachenko looks to score with a jab to the body but Dali is just out of range.
Gorbachenko closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Dali counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gorbachenko moves away.

Gorbachenko wants to slow Dali down by chopping away at his legs.
It looked like Dali was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gorbachenko.
A nice combination there by Gorbachenko.
Dali ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dali misses with a looping left.
Gorbachenko tries to clinch up.
Gorbachenko stuns Dali with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A head kick misses from Dali.
Gorbachenko now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A swing and a miss from Gorbachenko.
Gorbachenko is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dali rather than just go for the knockout.

Dali swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Dali counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gorbachenko's knee momentarily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gorbachenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dali moves away.
Gorbachenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dali was well out of range. Poor timing from Gorbachenko.

and Dali makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A low kick from Gorbachenko is predictable there
and Dali counters with a nice uppercut.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gorbachenko. Dali does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dali cracks the inside of Gorbachenko's front leg.

Gorbachenko clobbers Dali with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gorbachenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dali was well out of range. Poor timing from Gorbachenko.

Gorbachenko looks to clinch
and Dali counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gorbachenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Gorbachenko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dali.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dali throws the left hand but Gorbachenko avoids the punch easily.
Gorbachenko misses with a looping right.
Dali fires out a quick counter leg kick but Gorbachenko just manages to avoid it.

Dali feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gorbachenko sprawling to the canvas! Gorbachenko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dali finish him?!


Gorbachenko is rocked!
Dali looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dali backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Gorbachenko's temple! It sends Gorbachenko violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dali celebrates and the doctors try to help Gorbachenko!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Arany Dali!
