Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fanta Coco (ranked 755 p4p, 28 weight class) and Thierry Paulin (ranked 1268 p4p, 47 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fanta Coco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thierry Paulin! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paulin. Paulin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coco manages to avoid it. It looked like Coco was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Paulin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Fanta Coco has been cut. Coco slips a jab from Paulin. A quick step to the side and Coco tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Coco throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Paulin throws a head kick that misses. Paulin throws a body punch but Coco moves out of range. Coco keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Coco throws an overhand right that lands on Paulin's shoulder, as Paulin tries to avoid the shot. Coco pushing out the jab but it's not landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coco lands a slapping body shot.
Paulin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Coco blocks a head kick by Paulin.
Good work by Coco as he checks the leg kick. Paulin throws a wild body kick that Coco sees coming a mile off. We've been told by Coco's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Coco keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Paulin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coco finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A jab lands there for Coco.
It looks like Thierry Paulin has been cut. Coco tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Paulin. That's going to slow Coco down. We've been informed that Paulin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Coco connects with a crisp jab. Coco throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Paulin on the side of the head. Coco moves away from the strike by Paulin. Coco appears to be looking for a big counter. A big left from Paulin misses. Paulin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Coco checks a leg kick. Coco will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Coco misses with an uppercut. Paulin saw that one coming. Sloppy strikes from Coco. Those never looked like landing. Paulin misses with a body kick. Coco was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Paulin scores with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coco is looking to slow Paulin down with leg kicks. A swing and a miss from Coco. The fighters circling - Paulin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Coco keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Paulin. Coco throws a lazy right hand but Paulin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Coco uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Paulin. Coco tries a head kick but it misses.
Paulin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Coco. Coco misses with a series of wild punches.
Coco throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Paulin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Paulin. Coco breaks the clinch.
Coco takes a swing at Paulin's ribcage but misses. Paulin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Paulin tries a head kick but it misses.
Coco slips under a jab. Coco appears to be looking for a big counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Paulin. Paulin misses with a straight left. Paulin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fanta Coco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paulin throws a lazy uppercut
and Paulin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Coco tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Paulin is able to avoid easily. Coco throws out a powerful jab. Coco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Paulin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab from Paulin does it's job there. Coco swings away with a body shot that misses
and Paulin counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coco throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Paulin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coco lands a really nice looking cross but Paulin seems unphased.
Coco loads up on a big right hand but Paulin slips the punch. Paulin gets in close and tags Coco with a short punch that almost sends Coco to the mat! Oh Coco is in big trouble! He turns his back on Paulin, trying to create some distance but Paulin rushes him, striking wildly and Coco goes down! The referee tackles Paulin into the cage to end the fight! Paulin is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thierry Paulin! Thierry Paulin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
