Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lando Nallo (ranked 1230 p4p, 195 weight class) and Tomy Di Pietro (ranked 2411 p4p, 335 weight class). Nallo comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Battle - Trevor Jones. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lando Nallo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomy Di Pietro! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Di Pietro thumps Nallo with a low kick. Nallo moves into range and clinches up with Di Pietro. Nallo misses with a punch to the body.
Nallo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Di Pietro pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nallo tries for a takedown but Di Pietro manages to get underhooks.
Di Pietro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nallo misses with a series of wild punches.
Di Pietro throws a fast counter high kick but Nallo manages to duck under it in time. Nallo defending well as Di Pietro loads up on a big left hand. Nallo has closed the distance and engaged Di Pietro in a clinch.
Nallo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Di Pietro pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lando Nallo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Di Pietro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Di Pietro takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nallo moves in looking to clinch but Di Pietro pushes him off. Di Pietro scores with the left hand. Nallo knows he should have avoided that one. Di Pietro dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good standup being displayed there by Di Pietro as he connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nallo tries to clinch but Di Pietro moves out of range. Di Pietro throws a big counter head kick but Nallo avoids it with no problem. Di Pietro gets tackled into the cage by Nallo. Nallo maintains the clinch. Nallo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Di Pietro fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nallo throws a lazy right hand but Di Pietro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nallo avoids the head kick by Di Pietro.
Tomy Di Pietro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nallo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Di Pietro pinned against the cage. Di Pietro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nallo moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromDi Pietro. Lando Nallo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nallo tries to clinch but Di Pietro moves away and Di Pietro counters with a good low kick that Nallo was not able to check. Di Pietro throws a half hearted mid kick. Nallo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Di Pietro is trying to control but can't.
Nallo is pressing down on Di Pietro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Di Pietro is holding on for now. Di Pietro is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nallo trying to mount his opponent but Di Pietro defends it. Di Pietro trying to control here.
Nallo working over Di Pietro with some ground and pound. Di Pietro looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nallo trying to control from half guard but Di Pietro is working away. Di Pietro works his way to full guard. Good work. Di Pietro has Nallo pulled in close to control his posture. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Di Pietro keeping moving, preventing Nallo from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Di Pietro controlling the position. Nallo wants to control from the top but Di Pietro keeps moving. Nallo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Di Pietro's guard. Nallo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Di Pietro has managed to free his arm - good work. Di Pietro wants to control but Nallo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Di Pietro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Nallo working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Di Pietro's thigh. Di Pietro counters though and makes it back to full guard. Di Pietro has his hands on Nallo's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nallo looking to sit in guard and control but Di Pietro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Di Pietro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Di Pietro trying to control but Nallo is working from the bottom. Nallo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tomy Di Pietro will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Di Pietro misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Di Pietro. Di Pietro steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Di Pietro circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Nallo drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Di Pietro follows Nallo to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tomy Di Pietro! Tomy Di Pietro is the new light heavyweight champion! In his post fight interview, Tomy Di Pietro started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
