Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Strong (ranked 7719 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tab Pen (ranked 5454 p4p, 0 weight class). Tab Pen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hayden Strong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pen has managed to clinch.
Strong wants to get back to striking at distance but Pen won't allow it.
Strong manages to break the clinch.
Pen slaps away a takedown attempt from Strong, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Pen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Strong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Strong is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Pen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Pen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pen manages to end up in side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Strong stops Pen from passing to mount.
Pen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Strong is being controlled here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pen trying to control the action but Strong is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pen cracks Strong with a big elbow.
Strong sneaks back into half guard.
Pen trying to control from half guard but Strong is working away.
Strong tries to roll over but Pen keeps him under control.
Strong punching from the bottom.
Strong manages to get to full guard.
Strong wants to sweep here but Pen controlling him for the moment.
Strong pushes a forearm under Pen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hayden Strong!
