The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Benson. Benson gets slowly back to his feet.
Benson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wilson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
What's Wilson going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Wilson gets back to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Benson is on him like a limpet, forcing Wilson back against the cage.
Benson manages to break the clinch.

Wilson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Benson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wilson lands a huge takedown. Benson is out but the ref is slow to react and Wilson lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Benson lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
