Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Workman (ranked 6081 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Fox (ranked 3534 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Fox will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Workman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Fox! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Workman throws a counter high kick but Fox was just alert enough to avoid it. Workman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fox feints and as Workman raises his hands in defense, Fox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Workman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fox stands up from guard. Let's bang! A momentary lapse in concentration from Fox enables Workman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fox manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Workman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Workman really is a fat lump. Fox is trying to keep Workman in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Workman working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Workman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fox wants to sweep here but Workman controlling him for the moment. Workman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Workman gets caught napping as Fox dives in and scores a takedown. Workman manages to retain guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Workman is on top in guard.
Workman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Workman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Workman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fox for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Workman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Workman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fox controls Workman momentarily but Workman frees himself. Workman lands a couple of digs. Workman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fox is looking for a triangle but Workman pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Workman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fox looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Workman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Workman gets the takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Workman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Workman throws a sloppy head kick and Fox moves out of range easily. Fox shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Workman sprawls well. Workman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fox gets slowly back to his feet. Workman throws a head kick that misses. Despite the aggression on Fox's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fox. Steve Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Workman misses with the combination.
It seemed like Fox was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Workman drives through with a takedown into guard. Workman with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox wants to sweep but no luck. Workman postures up.
Workman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Workman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fox wants to clinch up but Workman keeps it at a distance. Fox fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Andrew Workman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Fox. Fox dips to his left and cracks Workman with an uppercut! Workman takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fox fails with a takedown attempt. Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Workman swivels and escapes. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fox. Fox is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox throws a combination that misses and Workman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fox wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Workman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fox is looking for a sweep. Workman slows the pace down. Workman landing a few strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Workman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Workman prefers to stall for the moment though. Workman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fox can do to turn this around? Workman is working Fox over with some ground and pound from side control. Fox seems a little lost for a moment, as Workman dominates the positioning. This is a sustained period of stalling by Workman. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Workman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Workman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fox's shoulder. That is not cool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Workman scores with a couple of short elbows.

Fox was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Workman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Workman controlling the pace for now. Fox tries to hold on but Workman postures up. BOOM! Workman connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Workman moves to the back position. Workman really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Workman gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Workman softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Workman is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Fox up.
Fox is rocked! Workman lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Fox.
Fox is still in real trouble! Can Workman finish him? Workman is looking to finish with some ground and pound! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is taking a good look at Fox as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Workman!
Workman trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Fox doesn't escape. Fox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Workman continues to hold on tight. Workman is landing big shots and Fox is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Workman!
