The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincent slaps away a takedown attempt from Spread, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vincent appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Spread fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vincent to the ground. Spread is now in Vincent's guard.
Vincent is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Spread stands up and waves to Vincent to follow him.
Spread throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vincent's waist but Vincent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spread off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vincent shoots in looking for a takedown. Spread tries to sprawl out of it but Vincent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spread manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Spread has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Vincent clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spread is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Spread working over Vincent with some ground and pound. Vincent looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Vincent tries to get to full guard but Spread has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Spread is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Spread is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Spread is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vincent doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Spread.

That was a close round but I would say that Chase Vincent will probably get the nod.

Spread throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vincent was covering up waiting for the punch and Spread finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Vincent is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Spread is trying to drag Vincent to the mat but Vincent just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Spread stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Spread tries to pull guard but Vincent holds him up against the cage and eventually Spread drops back down to his feet.

Spread with the counter takedown but Vincent avoids it easily.

It looked like Vincent was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Spread fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Spread decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vincent wants to get back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Spread seems content to control.

Spread wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vincent keeps working.

Vincent is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Spread has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Vincent is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Spread is trying to control the action in half guard but Vincent is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Vincent has hold of Spread's hands but Spread slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Spread prevents Vincent from standing back up.
Spread should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Vincent tries to roll over but Spread keeps him under control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chase Vincent will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spread shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Spread was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Spread working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Vincent pushes Spread away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Spread gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Vincent is trying to strike from the bottom but Spread has passed into full mount.
Vincent is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
