The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson stuffs the takedown attempt from Logan. Logan gets slowly back to his feet.
Thompson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

It looks like Don Logan has been cut.
Logan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thompson.
Logan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thompson but Thompson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Logan throws a right hand that Thompson ducks under and follows up with a left that Thompson also avoids with ease.
Logan fakes the leg kick and cracks Thompson in the body.

Thompson is looking to improve his position but Logan isn't that keen on the idea.

Logan throws a left that rocks Thompson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Logan dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Thompson regain composure!

Logan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Don Logan will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Some wild striking there from Thompson.
Logan lands with a shot to the body.
Logan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thompson sprawls well initially but Logan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Thompson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Logan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Logan's back!
Logan is trying to break free.
Thompson is cranking Logan's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Logan! He's tightened the choke and Logan is tapping out!
