Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Richter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dirk Richter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Nelson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nelson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Richter is looking for a sweep. Richter seems a little lost for a moment, as Nelson dominates the positioning. Richter is trying to control Nelson's posture but Nelson avoids it. Nelson wants to control but Richter is keeping him busy. Nelson tries to move to mount but Richter blocks the move with his legs. Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richter keeps working. Nelson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Nelson is looking for a sweep. Richter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nelson is trying to control but can't.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Richter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nelson's head. Richter lands with a thumping leg kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Richter finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Nelson looks gassed! A good leg kick by Richter. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Richter lands with a slapping head kick. Richter throws a nice inside leg kick. Richter throws a nice inside leg kick. Richter throws a quick inside leg kick. Richter scores with a leg kick.
Richter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nelson. That did some damage! Richter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richter lands with a kick to the ribs.
Richter wants to clinch up but Nelson keeps it at a distance. Richter throws a leg kick which misses Nelson's front leg but catches the back leg as Nelson tries to avoid it. Richter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Nelson is rocked! Nelson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Richter. That one must have hurt. Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Richter finish him? Richter scores with a spinning back kick! Nelson seems to have recovered his senses. A solid leg kick lands there for Richter.
Nelson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Richter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Nelson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Richter really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson landing strikes, looking to finish! Nelson lands a big shot there that rocks Richter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Nelson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Richter has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nelson prevents Richter from getting the reversal. Richter tries to hold on but Nelson pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nelson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Richter is trying to reverse the position but instead Nelson has taken his back - oops! Richter trying to control the position but Nelson manages to sink in the hooks. Richter fending off the submission attempt from Nelson. Richter showing good submission defense here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dirk Richter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
An inside leg kick lands from Richter. Nelson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Richter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Richter is trying to keep Nelson in close.
Nelson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nelson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nelson has Richter in his guard. Richter postures up.
Richter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nelson's guard. Nelson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Nelson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Nelson is refusing to be controlled, as Richter sits in half guard. Richter tries to pass to full mount but Nelson defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are battling for position here. Nelson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nelson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nelson is striking but Richter is not phased and passes to half guard. Nelson is staying active underneath Richter, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Richter is working for a submission of some sort.
Richter trying to control the action but Nelson is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Richter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nelson keeps working. Nelson wants to control but Richter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nelson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Richter pushes Nelson away with a front kick. Nelson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Richter, right into the meat.
Richter throws a solid leg kick but Nelson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Richter. Nelson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nelson wants to control but Richter is keeping him busy. Nelson looking to control but instead Richter has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Nelson trying to control from Richter's half guard. Richter has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Richter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nelson wants to pass the guard but Richter is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dirk Richter will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Richter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nelson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nelson has Richter in his guard. Nelson looking for a sweep. Not yet Nelson, not yet. Nelson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Richter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Nelson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Richter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nelson keeping full guard, as Richter tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nelson. Charles Nelson has got the better of the ground game so far. Richter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nelson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Richter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nelson is working away from the top position though. Dirk Richter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nelson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Richter is refusing to be controlled, as Nelson sits in half guard. Still in half guard, Nelson seems content to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Richter is staying active underneath Nelson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Richter trying to control here.
Charles Nelson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nelson is working for a kimura but Richter is defending it quite comfortably.
And that's the end of the fight! Charles Nelson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Richter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
