Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Birger Nielsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roccu Balbetta!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balbetta throws a body shot but no joy.
Nielsen fails to land the takedown.
Balbetta stuffs the takedown attempt from Nielsen. Nielsen gets slowly back to his feet.
Nielsen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Birger Nielsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Balbetta looks to throw the jab but Nielsen is out of range.
Nielsen tries for a takedown but Balbetta circles away easily
letting Balbetta counter with a right hand.
It looks like Birger Nielsen has been cut.
Nielsen misses with a takedown attempt - Balbetta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nielsen throws a series of punches but Balbetta moves out of range.
Nielsen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Balbetta pinned against the cage. Balbetta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice straight punches there by Balbetta. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Balbetta.
A cross from Balbetta lands.
A punch lands to the side of Nielsen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Balbetta connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nielsen tries for a takedown but Balbetta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nielsen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Balbetta has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Balbetta and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Balbetta misses with a looping right.
Balbetta cracks Nielsen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nielsen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Balbetta finish him?
Nielsen is rocked!
Birger Nielsen's cut is getting worse.
Nielsen is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Balbetta drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Nielsen's head, knocking him out cold! Balbetta is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roccu Balbetta!
