Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagai bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Agapov tries to work over Nagai's front leg with a kick but Nagai checks it.
Nagai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nagai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Bogdan Agapov has been cut.
Agapov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nagai circles away quickly and effectively.
Agapov misses with a double jab
and Nagai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Agapov's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Agapov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Agapov throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Nagai counters with a body kick.
Agapov blocks a head kick by Nagai.
Agapov unleashes a big counter combination but Nagai bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sloppy strikes from Agapov. Those never looked like landing.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nagai. Agapov shrugs it off though.
Agapov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nagai counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Agapov looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Agapov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nagai.
Nagai with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Bogdan Agapov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Agapov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Nagai counters with a solid body kick.
Nagai lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nagai looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Agapov throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nagai works Agapov's body with a nice hook.
Nagai throws a pinpoint strike between Agapov's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Agapov crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Nagai scores a great knockout victory!
