The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reborn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Martinez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Reborn scores with a jab to the body.
Martinez has taken the fight to the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Reborn throws an elbow but misses.

Martinez can't get the takedown.
Reborn pushes off an throws an elbow but Martinez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Martinez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reborn smiles and moves away.

Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Reborn, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Reborn against the cage but Reborn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Reborn closes the distance and clinches.
Martinez jumps guard but Reborn stands there with Martinez around his waist. Martinez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Reborn.
Reborn pushes Martinez against the cage. Reborn is working some dirty boxing. Reborn pushes off with a quick right hook! Martinez goes down! Martinez tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Reborn moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Reborn!
A relieved looking Danny Reborn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
