Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Ford (ranked 7347 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bwanali Longwe (ranked 4954 p4p, 0 weight class). Longwe has chosen kojo funds dun talking as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford avoids the head kick by Longwe.
Longwe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ford misses with a double jab
and Longwe counters with a left and a right that stings Ford.
Ford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ford lands a head kick. Longwe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Longwe closes the distance and clinches up with Ford, looking for a takedown. Longwe pushes Ford against the cage but Ford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Longwe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ford swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ford plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Ford wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ford sizes up Longwe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Longwe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ford pinned against the cage. Ford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ford lands with a thumping leg kick.

That kick from Ford tenderised Longwe's leg. Longwe is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rob Ford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ford lands a right hook to the body.
Ford cracks Longwe with a hook to the temple - Longwe is on wobbly legs here! Ford swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Longwe falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ford wins by TKO!

After winning the bout, Rob Ford thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
