Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damon Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Swindell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the ring accompanied by One Step Closer by Linkin Park. Greg Swindell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Swindell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stone doesn't seem phased though. Swindell tries to clinch up. Swindell misses with a two punch combination.
Swindell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Swindell just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Swindell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stone but Stone pushes him off and we're back to square one. Swindell misses with a body kick. Swindell fails to land with a series of punches.

Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Swindell tries for a takedown but Stone circles away easily and Stone counters with a shoot takedown. Swindell fights it but they end up in guard. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Swindell is keeping the position for now. Stone with a nice head shot there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Swindell is on top in guard.
Stone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Swindell's guard. Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Swindell is retaining full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Stone is in close to Swindell's body, working some short punches and elbows. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stone won't allow Swindell to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Damon Stone will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Swindell looks to score with a jab to the body but Stone is just out of range. Swindell moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off. Stone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Swindell. Swindell throws out a powerful jab. Swindell misses with a takedown attempt and Stone counters with a single leg into guard. Swindell didn't expect that. Stone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Swindell works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stone makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stone is working Swindell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Swindell is retaining full guard. Stone won't allow Swindell to get back to his feet. Stone chips away with some ground and pound. Stone postures up in Swindell's guard and throws a big left but Swindell blocks it. Stone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stone working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swindell on the ground. Stone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Swindell's head. Stone stops Swindell from standing up. Stone looking to pass the guard. Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stone with a nice head shot there. Swindell has his foot on Stone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stone works his way back into a safe position though. Stone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stone scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stone landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Swindell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stone pushing down on Swindell's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Stone scoring with strikes to the body and head. Swindell is looking to escape. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stone lands a nice short elbow. Stone lands strikes from half guard. Swindell has hold of Stone's hands but Stone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stone scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stone seems to be working for a kimura but Swindell defends the submission attempt. Swindell wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone working over Swindell with some ground and pound. Swindell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stone winds up and cracks Swindell with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Stone seems to be working for a kimura but Swindell defends the submission attempt. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Swindell tries to clinch up. Swindell throws a leg kick and Stone counters with a single leg into guard. Swindell didn't expect that. Swindell looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Stone is defending well. Swindell quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Stone has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Swindell celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
