On his way into the cage it seems that Cameron Castaneda has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cameron Castaneda seems to be OK! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaneda as he jumps to the side.
Boyka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Castaneda gets tackled into the cage by Boyka. Boyka maintains the clinch.
Castaneda is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Boyka is defending well.

Boyka breaks the clinch.
Boyka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Castaneda circles away.
Castaneda went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castaneda takes the fight into the clinch.

Boyka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boyka shoots in and drives through. Castaneda sprawls well.
Castaneda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boyka rushes Castaneda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Castaneda has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Boyka clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Boyka tries to roll but Castaneda sticks to his back.

Yuri Boyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
