Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Waleed Dheeb (ranked 2418 p4p, 256 weight class) and Slippery Salmon (ranked 2787 p4p, 287 weight class). Waleed Dheeb is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmon lands a nice shot to the body.

Salmon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dheeb sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Salmon moves into range and clinches up with Dheeb.
Dheeb's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Salmon wants the takedown. Dheeb is fighting it off but Salmon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dheeb's guard against the cage.

Salmon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dheeb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Salmon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dheeb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Salmon has Dheeb in his guard.

Dheeb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Salmon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dheeb gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Salmon has his foot on Dheeb's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dheeb works his way back into a safe position though.

A looping hook to the body misses from Salmon. Dheeb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Salmon goes for a double leg but Dheeb avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dheeb continues to drive forward.
