The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ford counters with a left and a right that stings Cooper.
Ford is looking to score with low kicks.
Ford gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cooper is trying to force a seperation but Ford has the dominant position.
Ford tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cooper avoids it.
Ford is trying to trip Cooper. He has hold of a leg but Cooper is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ford persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ford trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ford passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ford is trying to get an arm triangle but Cooper is defending well.
Ford controlling the position from side mount.

Cooper is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ford connects with a decent elbow.
Cooper on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Cooper is rocked!
Ford is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cooper looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ford gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cooper is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ford lets go of the hold and Cooper can pop his arm back in it's socket.
