Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Antony Vasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Braun Strowman! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasquez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Strowman bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Strowman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vasquez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Vasquez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vasquez holds on and takes a little breather. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasquez trying to strike off his back.
Strowman won't allow Vasquez to get back to his feet. Vasquez is pulling down on Strowman's head. It's preventing any offense from Strowman, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strowman chips away with some ground and pound. Strowman is looking to advance position but Vasquez has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Strowman looks winded! Strowman tries to hold on but Vasquez postures up. Vasquez controlling from the full mount. Vasquez putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Vasquez controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasquez with a couple of short strikes. Strowman tries to hold on but Vasquez pushes him away. Vasquez controlling his opponent. Vasquez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Strowman for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strowman is working to get back to half guard.
Vasquez controlling the position easily from mount. Strowman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Vasquez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vasquez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Strowman tries to clinch but Vasquez moves out of range. Strowman just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromVasquez. Vasquez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Strowman is looking for a sweep. Vasquez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Strowman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vasquez scores with a couple of nice shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasquez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Antony Vasquez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Strowman is breathing heavily.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Vasquez looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Strowman wants to control but Vasquez is keeping busy and won't allow it. Strowman tries to kick Vasquez off but Vasquez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Vasquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Strowman drives through with a takedown into Vasquez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Vasquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Strowman manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasquez is stalling in the full guard. Vasquez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Vasquez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vasquez chips away with some ground and pound. Vasquez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Antony Vasquez dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Strowman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vasquez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vasquez. Strowman is trying to force a seperation but Vasquez has the dominant position. Vasquez tries to break the clinch but Strowman is controlling the position. Vasquez just leaning against Strowman, taking a breather. Vasquez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Strowman throws a sloppy head kick and Vasquez moves out of range easily. Braun Strowman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasquez swats away the attempt to clinch by Strowman. Strowman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Vasquez gets the takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasquez is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Strowman will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Strowman trying his best to control but Vasquez has mounted him. Vasquez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Strowman's face.
Vasquez content just to control the position here. Strowman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vasquez controlling the pace for now. Vasquez looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
