Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reece Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Avivee Glazer! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Glazer is looking to regain half guard here but Perry keeps moving and retains side control. Glazer wants to get back to his feet but Perry drags him back down. Perry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Glazer tries to bench press Perry off him but Perry keeps the position. Perry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glazer keeps working. Glazer is looking to regain half guard here but Perry keeps moving and retains side control. Perry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glazer keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Perry tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glazer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Glazer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Perry.
It looks like Avivee Glazer has been cut. Glazer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Glazer is looking to clinch. Reece Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glazer wants to clinch. A left and a right from Glazer both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Reece Perry has been cut. Perry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perry working the head and body with strikes. Glazer wants to get back to full guard. Perry prevents Glazer from standing back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Perry lands a high kick!
Glazer fails to land the takedown. Perry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Glazer moves away. Glazer looks to land a combination. Perry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Glazer looks gassed! Glazer tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Perry closes the distance and clinches. Perry misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Glazer.
Glazer misses with a punch on the inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry tries for a takedown but Glazer manages to get underhooks.

Glazer wants to get back to striking at distance but Perry won't allow it.
A short left from Glazer. Perry looks to throw an elbow but misses. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Maybe Perry would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Glazer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Perry's elbow. Perry tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Perry slows down the pace here.
Perry jumps guard but Glazer stands there with Perry around his waist. Perry gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Perry lands an elbow inside that Glazer shrugs off. Perry unloads a knee to the mid-section. Glazer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Perry taking a breather. Perry tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reece Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glazer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Perry just misses with a elbow thrown towards Glazer's brow. Glazer lands a body shot. Glazer is looking to break free of the clinch but Perry has double underhooks. Glazer working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Glazer is trying to break free. A body shot lands from Glazer.
Glazer misses with a hook from the clinch. Glazer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short left from Glazer. Glazer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Perry wants to stall.
Perry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Glazer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Perry looking for a takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glazer scores with a shot to the side of Perry's head. Glazer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Glazer misses with a hook from the clinch. Glazer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perry has him pressed against the cage. Glazer is pressed up against the cage. Perry has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Glazer down to the mat. Glazer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Reece Perry will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Glazer moves in looking to clinch but Perry pushes him off. Glazer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perry circles away quickly and effectively. Glazer is looking to clinch but Perry is avoiding it.
Avivee Glazer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Glazer clinches but Perry breaks the clinch and Perry counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Perry not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Glazer wants to improve his position but Perry is controlling well.
Glazer wants to get back to full guard but Perry has mounted him! Glazer tries to hold on but Perry postures up. Perry prevents Glazer from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perry is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Glazer is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Reece Perry!
