Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Farina (ranked 946 p4p, 99 weight class) and Mohammed Ruslanov (ranked 3367 p4p, 309 weight class). Farina comes to the cage accompanied by Combichrist - Today I Woke to the Rain of Blood. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Farina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mohammed Ruslanov! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farina looks to land a left hand but Ruslanov moved out of range nicely. Farina missing with a left hand there. Ruslanov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ruslanov misses with a looping left. Ruslanov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Farina throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Farina misses with a left hand and Ruslanov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Farina's guard. Ruslanov throws a big elbow that misses. Ruslanov postures up in Farina's guard and throws a big left but Farina blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Farina is pulling down on Ruslanov's head. It's preventing any offense from Ruslanov, at least for the moment. Farina is trying to control the position but Ruslanov postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruslanov with a flurry of punches that miss. Ruslanov throwing strikes but missing. Ruslanov connects with a couple of short punches. Ruslanov distracts Farina with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Ruslanov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ruslanov throws a strike but Farina rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ruslanov has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Farina has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Ruslanov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Farina controlling from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farina looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ruslanov regains half guard. Farina slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruslanov gets back to full guard.
Farina looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ruslanov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Farina is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ruslanov.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ruslanov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Farina seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Farina is trying to control. Ruslanov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ruslanov is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Farina not doing much here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mario Farina will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Ruslanov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Farina throws a poor cross that misses
and Ruslanov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've been told by Farina's head coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Farina ducks under a wild hook from Ruslanov. Farina lands a nice looking body shot.
Farina misses with a looping left. Ruslanov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruslanov slips a jab from Farina. Farina scores with a shot to the body.
Farina connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Mohammed Ruslanov has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farina lands a slapping body shot.
Ruslanov is breathing heavily. and Farina counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ruslanov! He's just covering up as Farina starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Farina! An out of breath Mario Farina thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
