Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Ragardo (ranked 2814 p4p, 264 weight class) and Jason Imbert (ranked 3693 p4p, 332 weight class). Imbert has chosen Welcome to the jungle-by GUNS N ROSES as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Thor Ragardo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Imbert's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thor Ragardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Imbert!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Imbert throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Imbert lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ragardo backs up against the cage.
It looks like Thor Ragardo has been cut.
Ragardo tries for a takedown but Imbert sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ragardo misses with a lunging right hand
letting Imbert counter with a right hand.
Ragardo fails with the takedown.
Imbert has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ragardo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Imbert sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ragardo somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Ragardo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Imbert connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ragardo's hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragardo dives in and grabs Imbert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Imbert pushes down on Ragardo's head and hops out.
Imbert lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Imbert throws a right and a left that Ragardo avoids nicely.
Ragardo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Imbert.
Ragardo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ragardo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Imbert counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ragardo! Imbert lets Ragardo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ragardo is rocked!
Thor Ragardo's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ragardo is aggressively charging in as Imbert backs up avoiding any damage. Imbert tosses out a jab and Ragardo runs right into it face first! Ragardo is out cold! Imbert dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ragardo's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jason Imbert!
Post fight, Jason Imbert stared into the camera and said 'I'm looking to put on a show every time I fight......who wants to dance bitch?'.
