Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clay (ranked 1068 p4p, 53 weight class) and Santosh Nagasaki (ranked 1326 p4p, 64 weight class). Clay's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Believe. Nagasaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Execute Plan: Onwards Zombie Soldiers kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Santosh Nagasaki has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santosh Nagasaki!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Clay.
Nagasaki moves out of range of the strikes.
Nagasaki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clay.
Clay misses with a body shot

and Nagasaki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Clay won't be happy with that.

Nagasaki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clay, who protects the arm well.

Nagasaki is looking to take a break and control but Clay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A lull in the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Nagasaki frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nagasaki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Clay is looking to escape.

Nagasaki misses with a head shot. Clay uses the momentum to regain guard.
Nagasaki looking to sit in guard and control but Clay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Clay wants to control from the top but Nagasaki keeps moving.
Clay is fighting to break Nagasaki's control of his arms but Nagasaki is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Nagasaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nagasaki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Clay with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Clay wants to control but Nagasaki is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Nagasaki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Nagasaki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clay manages to avoid it.

Nagasaki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Clay swings for the body but Nagasaki moves out of range.
Clay feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nagasakis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Nagasaki goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Clay tries to work over Nagasaki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Nagasaki wants to improve his position but Clay is controlling well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clay in particular looking to stall.

Clay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nagasaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clay has managed to get both his arms back between Nagasaki's legs - danger averted.

Clay throws a head kick but Nagasaki moves out of range.
It seemed like Nagasaki was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Clay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


Clay is rocked!
Nagasaki fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Clay square on the jaw! Damn, Clay is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
