Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Brock (ranked 4448 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Geisler (ranked 3343 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock comes into the arena with Venom's Theme blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geisler with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brock to score with a decent uppercut.
Brock fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Geisler checks it well.
Geisler scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Geisler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Geisler throws a body punch but Brock moves out of range.
Geisler misses with a straight right.
Brock throws a head kick that Geisler semi-blocks.
Brock has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Brock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Geisler at a distance.
Geisler throws a lazy uppercut
letting Brock counter with a right hand.
Brock scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Geisler doesn't seem bothered though.
A head kick from Brock lands but Geisler takes it in his stride.
Brock buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Brock pivots, looking for a leg kick but Geisler is out of range and Brock settles back down.
Brock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Geisler checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Geisler now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Brock takes a swing at Geisler's ribcage but misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Geisler misses.
Brock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Geisler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Geisler appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Brock throws a predictable looking body shot
and Geisler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Geisler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brock.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Brock. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Geisler moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Brock will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Geisler throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Brock colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Geisler as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Brock is left battered and dazed whilst Geisler and his camp cheer!
