Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brain Fog (ranked 2180 p4p, 114 weight class) and Emilio Disi (ranked 2384 p4p, 124 weight class). Emilio Disi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brain Fog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emilio Disi! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Disi throws out the jab. Disi lands a body shot.
Disi lands a lovely overhand right. Some wild striking there from Disi.
Fog half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Disi misses with an uppercut. Fog saw that one coming. Fog feinted with a counter takedown. Disi throws a jab when Fog was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Disi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fog moves away. Disi misses the shot to the body. Fog feinted with a counter takedown. Disi fails to land with a series of punches.
Disi stuns Fog with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Disi has knocked Fog down with a huge combo! Disi steps away and waves a wobbly Fog back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Brain Fog has been cut. Disi misses with a wild body shot. Fog tries to counter with a takedown but Disi is quick to defend against it. Oh Fog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fog swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Emilio Disi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Disi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fog at a distance.
Fog seems to have got his legs back now. Fog tries to keep at a distance but Disi has taken the fight into the clinch. Fog has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Disi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Disi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Disi misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fog slips a jab from Disi. Fog feinted with a counter takedown. Disi clinches up against the cage. Disi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Disi is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Disi throws out a loose jab but Fog uses good head movement to avoid it. Fog looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. A looping hook to the body misses from Disi. Fog does a little dance to reset his feet. Disi tries to clinch up. Disi throws a hook but Fog avoids it easily. Fog drops down looking for a counter takedown but Disi sprawls and moves away.

Fog tries to advance to mount but Disi denies him. Disi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Fog swings around for an armbar but Disi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fog's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Disi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fog wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fog is trying to get an arm triangle but Disi is defending well. Fog swings around for an armbar but Disi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fog's guard. Fog throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Disi wants to control from the top but Fog keeps moving. Disi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Disi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fog trying to control the position.
Disi postures up in Fog's guard and throws a big left but Fog blocks it. Disi throws a strike but Fog rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Fog postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Disi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fog, into his guard. Fog keeping moving, preventing Disi from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fog will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Disi tries to stand but Fog is controlling from the bottom. Disi trying to control but Fog is working from the bottom. Disi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fog preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fog has a closed guard, preventing Disi from standing up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fog is on top in guard.
Fog forces his way into half guard. Disi is in trouble now - Fog has advanced to mount! Fog goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Disi is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Disi throws an elbow that misses. Fog uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Disi's guard. Nice move by Fog!

Disi has Fog pushed against the cage. Fog is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Disi pulls him back up using the underhooks. Disi tries to work over Fog's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Disi is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brain Fog. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fog is looking for a takedown. Disi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fog wants to take the fight to the mat but Disi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fog keeps control of Disi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Disi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fog slips a jab and a cross from Disi.

Fog swings around for an armbar but Disi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fog's guard.
