Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Great Tiger (ranked 1221 p4p, 156 weight class) and John Starman (ranked 2579 p4p, 296 weight class). Starman has chosen wrestlers as his entrance music. The key to victory for Great Tiger has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Great Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Starman! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tiger misses with a looping left. Starman tries to counter with a clinch but Tiger shakes him off and moves away. Tiger throws a jab when Starman was well out of range. Starman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tiger. That one must have hurt. Tiger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Starman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tiger looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Starman wants to control but Tiger is keeping him busy. Starman missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Starman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Tiger wants to get back to full guard. Tiger is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Starman. Tiger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Starman. Tiger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tiger. Tiger controls Starman momentarily but Starman frees himself. Tiger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tiger has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Starman should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tiger has tightened it up now! Starman should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Great Tiger! Our winner, Great Tiger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. John Starman was interviewed post fight and said 'Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bang bang'.
