Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Petrovich (ranked 7802 p4p, 487 weight class) and Blane Thomas (ranked 24632 p4p, 506 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dimitri Petrovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blane Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrovich fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Petrovich could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Petrovich scores with a hook to the body. Thomas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Petrovich swings for the body but Thomas moves out of range.
Dimitri Petrovich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrovich scores with a jab to the head.
Petrovich misses with an uppercut.
Thomas unleashes a big counter combination but Petrovich bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Petrovich throws a jab but it's blocked by Thomas.
Thomas rushes Petrovich and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Petrovich lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Thomas.
Petrovich lands an uppercut.
Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Petrovich swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice defenses there by Thomas.
Thomas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Petrovich throws a hook but Thomas blocks it.
Petrovich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomas.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrovich jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Petrovich.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Thomas takes one to the side of the head.
Thomas is rocked!
Petrovich flashes Thomas a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Thomas's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Thomas crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Petrovich punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dimitri Petrovich!
