Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lesnar (ranked 179 p4p, 20 weight class) and John Bravo (ranked 1083 p4p, 109 weight class). John Bravo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Lesnar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Bravo! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by Bravo. Lesnar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lesnar rushes Bravo and presses him up against the cage. Lesnar lands a hook to the side of the head. The referee calls for Lesnar to work.
Bravo is working for takedown but Lesnar is calmly controlling the position for now. Bravo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A left hand lands to the body for Lesnar.
Nice body punch from Lesnar - that landed with a thud.
Bravo tries a body shot but Lesnar blocks it.
A short right from Lesnar on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar is trying to trip Bravo. He has hold of a leg but Bravo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lesnar persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar controls from within his opponent's guard. Bravo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lesnar. Bravo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bravo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lesnar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bravo's head. We've been hearing that Lesnar has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lesnar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lesnar with a flurry of punches that miss. Lesnar throws a big elbow that misses. Lesnar landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bravo's head. Lesnar is in close to Bravo's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lesnar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lesnar distracts Bravo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lesnar pushes down on Bravo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lesnar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
It looks like John Bravo has been cut. Lesnar missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bravo is looking to improve his position.
Bravo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo has his hands clasped together around Lesnar's back. He's all about the action. Bravo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bravo is in trouble now - Lesnar has advanced to mount! Bravo wants to hold on but Lesnar pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Lesnar. Lesnar scoring with strikes but Bravo is staying in there. Bravo can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar lands a big elbow. Lesnar landing punches.
Bravo is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Lesnar! Bravo is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mark Lesnar! Mark Lesnar retains his heavyweight title! A less than humble Mark Lesnar misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
