Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Roque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roque comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy. White has chosen "Bring Out Your Dead" by Strung Out as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitor Roque! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jay White! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roque circles away from the clinch attempt.
White moves into the clinch successfully.
White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roque tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes. Nice sprawl there from White as Roque shoots in. White waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Roque. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Roque to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Roque is rocked!
It looks like Vitor Roque has been cut. Roque can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as White controls the pace. Oh Roque is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Roque seems to have got his legs back now. White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. White takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Roque wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roque is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of White's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take White's back! Roque gets his hands free as White looks to control. Roque keeps control of the position as White tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Roque working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Roque avoiding White 's attempts to control his hands. White is trying to get back to his feet but Roque has full control of the position and if anything, White has just worked his way into a worse spot. Roque thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. White showing good submission defense here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Roque has got his arm under White's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! White has spun round into Roque's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Roque wants to stand up but White is controlling him. Roque is breathing heavily. White is stalling in the full guard. Roque is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Roque had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. White is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Roque Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take White's back instead. White wants to control his opponent's hands but Roque gets his hands free. White fending off the submission attempt from Roque. Roque is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay White dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vitor Roque's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
White misses with a two punch combination.
Roque wants to clinch up but White keeps it at a distance. Roque tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. White stuffs the takedown attempt from Roque. Roque gets slowly back to his feet. White missing with a left hand there. Roque was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White lands a nice shot to the body.
White throws a sloppy head kick and Roque moves out of range easily. White bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Roque! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roque has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. White seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Roque is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roque swivels though and keeps the full guard. Roque wants to control the position but White says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Roque tries to roll over but White keeps him under control. White perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Roque slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. White stays in close to Roque's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roque tries to land a sweep but no joy. White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Roque throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Roque is looking for a triangle here but White uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
White takes a little break here. Roque wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jay White just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. White steps into range and cracks Roque with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Roque flops backwards and White dives into his guard looking to finish!
White is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Vitor Roque's cut. That's time! Roque's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Roque misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A slow jab from White misses its intended target. Roque falls off balance throwing a combination
and White counters with a nice uppercut. White drops Roque with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Roque! White dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Jay White!
