The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philips takes the fight into the clinch.
Johnson fails to pull guard.
Philips is pushing Johnson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Philips holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.

It looks like Demitrious Johnson has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arnold Philips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demitrious Johnson.
Philips pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The referee is keeping an eye on Philips - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Johnson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Philips smiles and moves away.

Johnson blocks a head kick by Philips.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
Philips clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Philips takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Philips keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Demitrious Johnson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Philips just stands there and leans against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Philips throws an elbow but misses.
Philips is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Johnson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Philips smiles and moves away.
Philips throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Johnson with the counter takedown but Philips avoids it easily.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Philips is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Philips circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Philips sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Philips lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Johnson crumples to the floor! Philips milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
