Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vencedor throws the left hand but Davis avoids the punch easily.
Vencedor moves away from the strike by Davis.

Davis clinches up with Vencedor and pushes him back against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Vencedor as the two fighters clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis.
Davis lands a hook to the side of the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Davis.

Vencedor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vencedor works Davis's body with a nice hook.
Vencedor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vencedor misses with a hook. Davis ducked under it nicely.

and Davis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A punch lands to the side of Davis 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis throws a body shot but no joy.
Vencedor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Davis.
Vencedor looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range.
Vencedor misses with a straight left.

Davis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vencedor throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis cracks Vencedor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Vencedor throws a shot from downtown. Davis moves away and avoids it.
Davis works Vencedor's body with a nice hook.
Davis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vencedor misses the jab.
Vencedor has been working on his boxing with his coaches at JAG Training Grounds [$600/week] in the buildup to the fight.

Davis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vencedor looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range.
Vencedor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vencedor takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Davis stuns Vencedor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vencedor was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.

A telegraphed right hand from Davis misses the target.
Davis lands a right hook to the body.
Davis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vencedor.
Vencedor misses with a straight right.
Davis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vencedor throws a jab but it's blocked by Davis.
Davis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Vencedor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Davis counters with a right hand to the body.
Vencedor looks to land a left hand but Davis moved out of range nicely.
Vencedor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
Davis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Davis connects with a body shot that sends Vencedor's belly button to the back.
Vencedor misses with a looping right.

Vencedor misses with a straight right.

and Davis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vencedor was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.
Davis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vencedor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Davis connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vencedor sizes up Davis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Davis throws a looping overhand right but Vencedor ducks down to avoid it.
Vencedor lands a glancing blow to the side of Davis's head.

Davis is rocked!
Davis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Davis is still on wobbly legs! Can Vencedor finish him?
Vencedor feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Davis crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
