Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Troy Bentley (ranked 24749 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateo Madzucic (ranked 5450 p4p, 483 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Troy Bentley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Troy Bentley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madzucic throws a lazy head kick
and Bentley counters with a straight right hand.
Madzucic looks to land a combination but Bentley avoids it well.
Bentley misses with a few strikes there.
Bentley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bentley seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A head kick misses from Madzucic.
Madzucic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bentley misses with a head kick.
Madzucic throws a counter combo.

so Bentley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bentley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bentley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bentley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bentley connects with a couple of short punches.

Madzucic wants to stand and escape but Bentley is having none of it.

Bentley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bentley seems to have locked his on tight now - Madzucic screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bentley, as he picks up the win!
