Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finnish Experiment Il (ranked 1693 p4p, 168 weight class) and Luiz Alves (ranked 3030 p4p, 250 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Alves rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Experiment Il moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Alves changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Experiment Il tries to avoid it but Alves manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Experiment Il to the ground. Experiment Il escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alves's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Experiment Il connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alves scrambles back to his feet.

Experiment Il feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alves sprawling to the canvas! Alves rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Experiment Il finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Experiment Il tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alves was well out of range. Poor timing from Experiment Il.
Alves fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Experiment Il appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Experiment Il steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Alves is out on his feet! Experiment Il sets himself and nearly takes Alves's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
