Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Punchy (ranked 2128 p4p, 318 weight class) and He Mu (ranked 2651 p4p, 367 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
34 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, He Mu!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mu cracks Punchy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jab, jab by Punchy - just one landing.
Mu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Punchy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A left lands for Mu.
Punchy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Punchy throws a body shot but no joy.
Punchy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mu.
Punchy throws a right and a left that Mu avoids nicely.
Mu throws a body shot but no joy.
A head kick misses from Mu.
Mu scores with a decent looking hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mu throws a head kick but Punchy moves out of range.
Mu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Punchy walks into a jab.
Punchy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mu takes a step back to recover.
Punchy throws a right and a left that Mu avoids nicely.

Mu throws a hook but Punchy avoids it easily.
Punchy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Crunch! Mu slams his shin into Punchy's torso.
Punchy tries for a takedown but Mu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Punchy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mu misses with a head kick.

A little feinted left hand from Punchy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Punchy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Mu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Trent Punchy has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Punchy throws a hook but Mu blocks it.

Mu takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
He Mu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Punchy swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mu counters with a stiff right hand.
A swing and a miss from Mu.
Mu throws a poor cross that misses
and Mu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mu - that will leave a mark!
Mu throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Punchy tumbling to the canvas!
Punchy is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Punchy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mu puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Oh Punchy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punchy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mu pulls his head out easily.
Mu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Punchy seems to have got his legs back now.
Punchy tries to get to full guard but Mu has control of the leg.

Mu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Punchy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Punchy has his foot on Mu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mu works his way back into a safe position though.

Punchy tries to counter with a takedown but Mu is quick to defend against it.
Mu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Punchy.
Punchy's corner calls for a 1-2. Punchy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Punchy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Punchy looks to throw the jab but Mu is out of range.
Punchy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Punchy wants to take a breather but Mu is having none of it.

Mu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Punchy drops his hands momentarily and Mu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's time! Punchy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Mu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Punchy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mu defends it easily.
Mu slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Punchy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Punchy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mu uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mu decides to stand back up. Mu steps back and let's Punchy get back to his feet.
Trent Punchy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Punchy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Punchy lands in his opponent's guard.
He Mu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Punchy throws a big elbow that misses.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mu holds on and takes a little breather.

Punchy throws a strike but Mu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
He Mu has got the better of the ground game so far.

Punchy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mu stands up and waves to Punchy to follow him.

He Mu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
