Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Langfinger (ranked 5499 p4p, 0 weight class) and David McYntyre (ranked 24894 p4p, 0 weight class). Langfinger kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 50 Cent - I'm Supposed To Die Tonight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesper Langfinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David McYntyre!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McYntyre shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Langfinger counters with a lovely shot to the body.
McYntyre tries for a takedown but Langfinger circles away easily
and Langfinger counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McYntyre looks winded!
Langfinger drops McYntyre with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McYntyre looks back up at him and smiles so Langfinger waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like David McYntyre has been cut.
McYntyre misses with a takedown attempt
and Langfinger rattles McYntyre with a well-timed uppercut counter. - McYntyre tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Langfinger dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving McYntyre stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jesper Langfinger!
Jesper Langfinger seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
