Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Bingisser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bingisser comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. The crowd seem to be enjoying Escobedo's choice of entrance music: el zacatecano. Alejandro Escobedo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Bingisser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Escobedo!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bingisser looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Escobedo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bingisser is fending him off so far but Escobedo persists. Nope, Bingisser circles away and we're back to standing.
Escobedo throws a head kick that misses.
Bingisser throws a one two combo.
Bingisser doesn't manage to clinch there - Escobedo circles away.
Bingisser lands with a kick to the temple. Escobedo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Escobedo misses with a hook.
Bingisser throws a leg kick but Escobedo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bingisser is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bingisser drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bingisser pushes down on Escobedo's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Bingisser shoots for a double leg takedown but Escobedo sprawls well. He's pushed Bingisser's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Escobedo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bingisser tries to avoid it but Escobedo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bingisser to the ground. Bingisser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Escobedo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bingisser misses with a takedown attempt - Escobedo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Escobedo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bingisser sprawls well initially but Escobedo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bingisser has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Escobedo is working away from the top position though.

Bingisser is trying to get back to full guard.
Bingisser flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Escobedo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bingisser does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bingisser is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Escobedo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bingisser wants to improve his position but Escobedo is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Robert Bingisser will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bingisser. Escobedo shrugs it off though.

and Escobedo counters with a three punch combo that has Bingisser backing up. Bingisser nods at Escobedo to acknowledge the strikes.
Escobedo drops his hands momentarily and Bingisser takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bingisser throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A jab from Bingisser finds it's way through Escobedo's defenses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bingisser wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Bingisser postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bingisser would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Bingisser trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robert Bingisser.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bingisser, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
