Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Juvenal Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Juvenal Jr looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Juvenal Jr avoids the head kick by Day.
Day throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Day feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Juvenal Jr's calf. Juvenal Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Day pinned against the cage. Day gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Day tries to clinch up but Juvenal Jr circles away and keeps his distance. A head kick misses from Day. John Juvenal Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Juvenal Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Day. Juvenal Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Day darts in and clinches Juvenal Jr up against the cage. Juvenal Jr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Day - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Juvenal Jr tries to pull guard but Day holds him up against the cage and eventually Juvenal Jr drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Juvenal Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Day drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Day controlling the position. Day wants to lay and pray for a moment but Juvenal Jr keeps working. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Day tries for a kimura but Juvenal Jr is defending well. Day looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day in side control, just content to control the action for now. Day wants to control but Juvenal Jr is keeping him busy. Day has hold of Juvenal Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Juvenal Jr seems comfortable defending it but Day has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Juvenal Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Juvenal Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Day couldn't care less - he's delighted!
