Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Noble (ranked 24937 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Jackson (ranked 5494 p4p, 454 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sam Jackson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lewis Noble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Jackson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson lands strikes from half guard. Jackson is trying to work for a kimura but Noble is defending well.
Jackson throwing shots but Noble is blocking nicely. Noble is refusing to be controlled, as Jackson sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is working for a kimura but Noble is defending it quite comfortably.
Jackson stands up and beckons Noble to join him on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Noble quickly recovers to half guard. Noble makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jackson misses with a leg kick and Noble counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Noble seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noble has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Noble throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Jackson.
Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A shot to the liver by Jackson. Beautiful body shot. Jackson tries to clinch but Noble moves away and Noble decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Noble stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson looks winded! Noble controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Noble loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Noble decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get! Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lewis Noble will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Noble scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Noble off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Noble is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Noble get back to his feet. Noble shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Noble showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noble prevents Jackson from standing back up.
Jackson is breathing heavily. Noble looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jackson keeping hold of Noble's head, controlling as best he can. Noble seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Noble throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Noble takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Noble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson tries to clinch but Noble is having none of it. Noble seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Noble is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sam Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noble gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jackson throws a strike but Noble rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Noble not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Noble drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Noble seems to have locked his on tight now - Jackson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Noble, as he picks up the win!
