Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 957 p4p, 42 weight class) and Quân Lê (ranked 1014 p4p, 48 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quân Lê!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Lê - just one landing.
Lê connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A good leg kick by Lê.
Sensei throws a right hand that Lê ducks under and follows up with a left that Lê also avoids with ease.
Sensei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sensei has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sensei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sensei works Lê's body with a nice hook.
Sensei just misses with a punch to the body.
Sensei shoots in but no luck this time.
Lê looks to land a left hand but Sensei moved out of range nicely.
Sensei takes a swing at Lê's ribcage but misses.
Quân Lê seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lê throws a wild body kick that Sensei sees coming a mile off.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lê moves in looking to clinch but Sensei pushes him off.
Lê has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sensei swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sensei closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lê has hold of Sensei's hands but Sensei slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lê is looking for a sweep. Sensei is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sensei slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sensei throws a strike aimed at the side of Lê's head but Lê avoids it well.
Sensei creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lê sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lê gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Sensei pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Lê sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Quân Lê has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lê throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sensei takes a swing at Lê's ribcage but misses.
Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lê uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sensei.
Lê walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sensei checks a leg kick nicely.
Lê misses with a kick to the body.
Sensei waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lê.
Lê was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Sensei throws the left hand but Lê avoids the punch easily.
Lê replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Sensei blocks it well.
Sensei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lê takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sensei moves out of range of the strikes.
Sensei moves into range and connects with a jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Sensei blocks the leg kick.
Sensei takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sensei throws a jab but it's blocked by Lê.

Lê scores with a sloppy right hand. Sensei should have avoided that one.
Lê takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sensei shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lê sprawls well. Lê wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sensei gets slowly back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lê.

Sensei shoots in and bounces Lê off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A looping hook to the body misses from Lê. Sensei does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sensei shoots in looking for a takedown but Lê manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sensei's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lê throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sensei is looking to wear down Lê with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lê takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sensei bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sensei remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sensei is staying tight to Lê's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Sensei has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Kylar Sensei showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Sensei has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
