The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decker stuffs the takedown attempt from Ribert. Ribert gets slowly back to his feet.
Decker throws a big counter combination but Ribert scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Decker fails to land with a series of punches.
Ribert is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Decker misses with a kick to the body

and Ribert counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ribert.

Ribert thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Decker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Decker trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Decker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Decker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ribert on the ground.

Ribert drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ribert jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Decker wants to get back to his feet but Ribert is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
