Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Buchanan (ranked 2938 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moonlight Maze (ranked 4628 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maze moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Maze uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Buchanan has time to react.
Maze blocks a head kick by Buchanan.
Maze tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buchanan defends well and Maze ends up having to push Buchanan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Maze takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Maze avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Buchanan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maze catches Buchanan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Buchanan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Buchanan punishes Maze's body with a nice straight punch.
Maze throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buchanan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Buchanan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maze scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Buchanan doesn't seem bothered though.

Nice uppercut lands for Maze. That snapped Buchanan's head back.
Maze fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Buchanan on the side of the head.
Maze wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Maze tries to bum rush Buchanan with a series of wild strikes but Buchanan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Buchanan shoots for a double leg takedown but Maze sprawls well. He's pushed Buchanan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Buchanan tries to counter with a takedown but Maze is quick to defend against it.
Buchanan connects with a solid leg kick.

Buchanan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Maze did well to prevent Buchanan getting side control.

enabling Maze to counter with a crisp jab.
Maze has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Buchanan lands a leg kick that knocks Maze off balance momentarily.
Nice straight punches there by Maze. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Maze.

Buchanan is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buchanan looks up at the clock. Bad move! Maze lands a right hand from hell, dropping Buchanan. Maze pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

After the fight, Moonlight Maze was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
