Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bakkes Ackerman (ranked 7918 p4p, 404 weight class) and Bruce White Jr (ranked 5670 p4p, 362 weight class). Ackerman comes to the cage accompanied by Da' Vat Hy!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bakkes Ackerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce White Jr! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ackerman swings for the body but White Jr moves out of range.
White Jr feints the counter takedown. White Jr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bakkes Ackerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White Jr feints and as Ackerman raises his hands in defense, White Jr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. White Jr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ackerman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead White Jr passes into half guard.
White Jr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. White Jr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. White Jr slips a nice elbow through Ackerman's hands, connecting with Ackerman's forehead. Ackerman wants to control but White Jr is keeping busy.
White Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. White Jr thows a huge punch but Ackerman dodges it nicely.

White Jr landing strikes from the mount and Ackerman is in trouble! The referee warns Ackerman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

White Jr looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ackerman controlling the position for now. Ackerman is looking to improve his position.
White Jr is nestled in close to Ackerman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. White Jr connects with a nice short shot to Ackerman's temple. White Jr is looking to advance position but Ackerman won't allow it. White Jr lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White Jr wants to advance to full mount but Ackerman doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White Jr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ackerman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ackerman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells White Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go! White Jr advances position into side control! Ackerman is trying to work for a sweep but White Jr has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. White Jr blocks Ackerman's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. White Jr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ackerman regains half guard. White Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ackerman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. White Jr lands a nice short elbow. Ackerman looking for submissions off his back. White Jr drops an elbow to the side of Ackerman's head. Ackerman has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. White Jr is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! A nice elbow there by White Jr. White Jr in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ackerman is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ackerman is working hard here to advance position. Ackerman tries to lock up and control but White Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ackerman is desperately trying to improve his position but White Jr has a good base and remains in mount. Ackerman sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. White Jr lands with a punch from half guard. Oh Ackerman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! White Jr moves nicely into side control. Ackerman seems to have got his legs back now. Ackerman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. White Jr looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ackerman taking some punishment here, with White Jr in his half guard. Ackerman has hold of White Jr's hands but White Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ackerman won't allow White Jr to pass to mount. White Jr lands a big shot. Ackerman looking for subs from the bottom but White Jr mounts him! Ackerman is working to get back to half guard.
White Jr avoids the attempt from Ackerman to control. White Jr postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ackerman badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of White Jr around the waist but White Jr pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! White Jr is the winner by TKO! White Jr jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A very excited looking Bruce White Jr made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Bakkes Ackerman spoke after the fight, saying 'I can assure you all today : This will never happen again!'.
