The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan throws a hook but Balboa avoids it easily.
Noonan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Balboa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Noonan shoots in but Balboa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Balboa shoots for a takedown but Noonan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Noonan throws a leg kick but Balboa sees it coming and moves out of range.

and Balboa counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noonan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Balboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noonan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Balboa looks gassed!
Noonan throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A swing and a miss from Noonan.
Noonan lands a big uppercut and Balboa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Balboa looks OK. Noonan waves Balboa back to his feet!

Balboa is rocked!

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Sheamus Noonan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noonan throws a lazy head kick

so Balboa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Balboa is still in real trouble! Can Noonan finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Balboa is standing over his opponent, holding on to the legs. Noonan throws a vicious up-kick that staggers Balboa ! Balboa falls backwards and Noonan wastes no time pouncing on him. He jumps on Balboa , throwing more shots. Balboa turtles up and the ref has to stop the fight! Noonan proving that he's always dangerous, no matter what position he's in!
