The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaspari shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kaspari was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bundy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kaspari wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kaspari is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bundy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bundy is looking to regain half guard here but Kaspari keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

Kaspari thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kaspari tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kaspari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bundy keeps working.
Bundy is trying to improve his position.
Kaspari wants to control but Bundy is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bundy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kaspari wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kaspari is trying to get an arm triangle but Bundy is defending well.
Bundy is looking to reverse the position.

Kaspari tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kaspari has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bundy can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bundy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kaspari quickly recovers to half guard.
Bundy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bundy lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kaspari quite badly. Kaspari pulls Bundy in close trying to recover. Bundy postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kaspari on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kaspari doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
