Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oisin Mac Cumhaill (ranked 4158 p4p, 495 weight class) and Dave McKean (ranked 4187 p4p, 496 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oisin Mac Cumhaill ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave McKean! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac Cumhaill shoots in looking for a takedown but McKean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mac Cumhaill 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mac Cumhaill gets caught flat footed, as McKean shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. McKean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. McKean closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mac Cumhaill did well to prevent McKean getting side control. Mac Cumhaill is trying to control but can't.
McKean is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mac Cumhaill defends it well. Still in half guard, McKean seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mac Cumhaill trying to hold on to McKean's head to control him but McKean postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. McKean lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. McKean scoring with strikes to the body and head. McKean winds up and cracks Mac Cumhaill with a swinging punch to the side of the head. McKean is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mac Cumhaill tries to regain full guard. Instead though, McKean has advanced to mount. Uh oh. McKean trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by McKean. McKean controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac Cumhaill wants to hold on but McKean pushes him away. McKean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mac Cumhaill . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McKean lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McKean controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKean landing punches. Mac Cumhaill is breathing heavily. McKean scores with a couple of good head shots there.
BOOM! McKean connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mac Cumhaill is rocked! McKean tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKean lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac Cumhaill shoots in for a takedown but McKean shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McKean tries to counter by closing the distance. McKean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mac Cumhaill was covering up waiting for the punch and McKean finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mac Cumhaill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McKean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McKean working some strikes from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKean looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKean is continuing to stall. The adventures of McKean the control monster continue. Boring. Mac Cumhaill has a closed guard, preventing McKean from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mac Cumhaill throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McKean is stalling in the full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. McKean scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. McKean taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKean goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mac Cumhaill has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McKean but great work by Mac Cumhaill . Mac Cumhaill wants to lay and pray for a moment but McKean keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKean tries to get back to half guard but can't. McKean can't do much from the bottom here. McKean is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKean can't do much from the bottom here. Mac Cumhaill tries to advance to mount but can't. McKean is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mac Cumhaill is controlling him well. McKean looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mac Cumhaill creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McKean sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. McKean is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McKean is trying to control Mac Cumhaill 's posture but Mac Cumhaill avoids it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McKean can do anything to dispel that myth. McKean is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mac Cumhaill is staying active. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave McKean showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mac Cumhaill . Mac Cumhaill tries to score a power double leg takedown but McKean sees that one coming and sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oisin Mac Cumhaill . That's going to take a lot out of him. McKean fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mac Cumhaill to the ground. McKean is now in Mac Cumhaill 's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Mac Cumhaill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McKean but McKean pushes him off and we're back to square one. McKean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mac Cumhaill 's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac Cumhaill is working an open guard so McKean takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. McKean closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mac Cumhaill did well to prevent McKean getting side control. McKean is working for a kimura but Mac Cumhaill is defending it quite comfortably.
McKean stands up from half guard. McKean shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McKean showed some decent athleticism there.

Let's hope that McKean has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. McKean looks to score some points with some ground and pound. McKean has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McKean is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. McKean working over Mac Cumhaill with some ground and pound. Mac Cumhaill looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. McKean is working for a kimura but Mac Cumhaill is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKean stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. McKean throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. McKean drives through with a takedown into guard. McKean slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. McKean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mac Cumhaill swivels though and keeps the full guard. McKean postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McKean not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. McKean gets to his feet - Mac Cumhaill follows without any prompting. McKean darts in and clinches Mac Cumhaill up against the cage. McKean breaks the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mac Cumhaill tries to keep at a distance but McKean has taken the fight into the clinch. McKean lands a takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave McKean comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McKean has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
